      Tax Calculations

Your lawyer's office will prepare the tax calculations which will indicate how much money you owe for taxes for the present year or how much money the buyer owes you for the taxes you have paid beyond the closing date. If your mortgage company has been paying your taxes, your lawyer will be contacting your mortgage company to ascertain what monies they are withholding on your behalf to pay taxes.
