Fixtures
Unless the contract for the sale of the property specifically identifies an item and indicates it is to be removed from the house prior to the closing, all fixtures are to remain. When moving out of the house, if you have any doubt as to whether or not any item is a fixture, please call and discuss it with your lawyer or Realtor, before you move it out. Fixtures are attached to the property, chattels are not.
